GRAPHIC-AL^TM OR has the rigidity of an aluminum composite material, in a super light weight with thinner aluminum skins (0.005") and a foamed plastic core. It offers excellent flatness and superior smoothness. Easily cut with a saw, substrate cutter or router, this unique material delivers stellar performance over a wide range of applications.

Benefits

Super lightweight: GRAPHIC-AL^TM OR 3MM thick is only 0.51PSF due to the thinner aluminum skin (0.005" thick) and a foamed plastic core.
High rigidity: GRAPHIC-AL^TM OR 3MM is equivalent to 1.8MM thick aluminum sheets and 5.0MM thick acrylic sheets in rigidity, and its light weight is only 60% and 50% respectively.
Excellent flatness and smoothness: GRAPHIC-AL^TM OR has an excellent flatness derived from the continuous laminating process and excellent smoothness from the coil coating process.

Material Composition

GRAPHIC-AL^TM HP is composed of two skins of 0.005" thick aluminum and a foamed polyethylene core. Both top and back surfaces are polyester coatings produced in our continuous coil coating line. Both sides are covered with transparent protective films.

Properties
The panel weight is almost equivalent to 1.0mm thick aluminum sheet. The thermal expansion is almost equivalent to aluminum sheets and nearly one-third acrylic sheets.
